As with all previous services on my 1970 911E Targa, the last two deserve 6 stars! I took the car in for a very slushy gearbox. Hard to find secon, reverse, etc. As I drove the car home, I felt like I was in a different car. Shifts were precise, shorter, easy to find, just a joy to drive!! Wonderful work...then the last job was a complete suspension repair and replacement. Driving home the car tracked like it was on a rail..but the best part was driving Old Creek Road! Talk about a car on rails...wonderful. Again the work done was top notch, delivered on time and no complaints logged. This is truly a great shop in SLO!!! Keep up the great work, service, and friendliness. Thank you all!

Been going to these guys for the past 7 years. I have 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera. Went their recently for ticking noise. dealer wanted to charge me thousands and decided to drive 300 miles to go these great guys and it paid off. They fixed the ticking noise and replaced my shocks. They saved me thousands and THAT, is how you do it. I will go to these guys every time. They are honest with high degree of integrity and their technical team is outstanding. Of course, I can't say enough good things about my "mate" Nathan. He's one of the reasons I go to them to get my car worked on. Anyone who doesn't give 5 star rating is an idiot . . . .

Guy Ober rebuilt.my 912 Porsche 5-speed back in 2005 when I was restoring. 1969 Porsche 912 . Did a great job and still running great. My engine is not doing very well and hoping to get them rebuild it.

Fixed my car that day! Went in early and had it out in time for the beach. Nice clean and friendly staff who know about their cars😎

Nathan always gets me in, and as an English chap, understands when I tell him something’s wonky. Charley did my service today AND figured out my lighter fuse was out (which was why my charger wasn’t working) Brighten can work his magic on a porsche engine blindfolded, but I’m relieved Guy doesn’t allow it. Speaking of Guy, always makes time to chat me up while I’m there and let me know I’m appreciated. Car repairs are stressful, but having a shop that you trust, is fair value, and treats you kindly, makes it a rewarding experience. Because every time I leave their shop and drive off, there’s just no other feeling better than shifting into 3rd on Broad St. and feeling that engine want to take flight. The gents at SGS are pros! I have been working hand in hand with SGS for the better part of 6 months building a dream 996 and the service and customer service has been outstanding! A big shoutout to Nathan, Guy and Britton for being patient with my consistent questions, upgrades and now beast of a 99 996. They have extremely good industry connections and the work performed was a heart transplant, cooling system upgrade/ well simply put it’s a brand new car. Nothing too big or too small for SGS!
